Has there been a cross-platform Instant Messenger that has grown at the rate with which WhatsApp has? Well, there hasn’t been and even with a plethora of instant messaging options coming to the fore, the intuitive User Interface, the reliable message delivery up-time and the free-flowing media exchange are some of the features that other instant messengers might have tried to replicate but there is still nothing like WhatsApp. With Facebook closing a $19B deal last year to acquire WhatsApp, what we have seen thereafter is the evolution of the ever-so-popular messenger app. Be it the infamous read-receipts or the WhatsApp Calling feature, WhatsApp has grown to something more than just being an instant messenger.
With ever-so-rising popularity and usage, WhatsApp is surely the most nifty IM that’s helping people connect from all stretches of the World. In order to give privacy of its users and their messages and media utmost priority, WhatsApp doesn’t allow multiple user accounts on one Phone. It might be a thing of good considering the heed WhatsApp is paying to the privacy of the users but many of us still wonder if we can somehow run multiple account on our Phone. Well, this was earlier possible only on rooted-Android devices, but now an alternative method is available that allows users to run 2 WhatsApp accounts on Android phone.
